Danielle Cadena Deulen

Danielle Cadena Deulen is a poet and essayist. She received her MFA in Creative Writing from George Mason University and currently lives in Salt Lake City where she is pursuing a PhD in English from the University of Utah. During 2007-2008 she was a Jay C. and Ruth Halls Poetry Fellow at the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her poetry has been nominated for a Pushcart prize and has appeared most recently in publications such as Best New Poets 2009, Smartish Pace, The Indiana Review, The Southern Review, and Hayden’s Ferry Review, among others. Her poetry collection Lovely Asunder is the winner of a book prize that is not yet announced (but its great!)
